From the image at the top of the page, you can easily see the range of exciting and varied instrumental opportunities that we have on offer at MYGUK Music Education. As primary-age specialists, we endeavour to deliver tuition based on the age and stage appropriateness of the children. Opportunities range from one-to-one instrumental lessons, all the way up to whole class activities. For our guitar and ukulele programmes, we have a structured curriculum that we follow and this is all detailed in our workbooks that each child receives at the start of the tuition programme. The 4 Learner Qualities that we specifically identify help focus the children in developing their musical education.
We endeavour to help subject leaders select the most suitable provision for their schools. We understand that every school is unique and requires different levels of provision that suit the day to day workings of their setting. Our Consultation process will enable this as we sit down and discuss the individual needs with the subject leader at the school. Through experience of teaching in a classroom environment, we aim to suggest practical, realistic and workable solutions for your school. Our pricing structure is competitive and realistic, this is based on the socio-economic area of the school. Music tuition should be available to all children, not just the privileged few. We suggest that you contact us directly to receive a quote for what you would require.
To ensure that all our clubs and tuition programmes are implemented smoothly into the school, we aim to have a good working relationship with our named contact and the administration staff. Before the start of any activity, we ensure that the tutor delivering the sessions has provided all the necessary identification documents to the school. Each year in September, we take part in Level 1 safeguarding. We will take care of the communication with the parents through our lines of contact which involve email and and SMS services. Our reply form services are all online which minimises the amount of paper that schools handle on our behalf. Parents are given the option to pay for the activities online should they choose to. In addition to ensuring that the activities are properly implemented, we offer services such as 'Experience Days.' These are either Key Stage or whole school opportunities such as experiencing the ukulele, or a session in music technology.
Every year, early in the Summer Term, we provide our schools with a data sheet that contains information regarding the services that we have provided throughout the academic year. This is a great opportunity for schools to reflect on the services that have been provided by ourselves. This in turn helps both ourselves and our schools plan ahead for the following academic year. We have found that the music curriculum leaders in school find these extremely useful as data collation for their subject.
