![]() This summer, we were due to hold our first assessed ukulele award for children who are in Y4 or above to work towards. However, in light of the school closures, we are going to change the way that this is delivered. We will now be opening this up to children who are in Y3 - 6. The award covers similar skills that you would find on a instrumental graded exam. However, there would be a much more informal assessment held at the end. This would last for no more than 15 minutes. All children who participate will receive a certificate. This is an ideal way to keep your child engaged with regular structured practice. The syllabus provides all the necessary material for learning, which is set out in a child-friendly format. Should your child wish to work towards this award, please complete the registration for found below "Read More". The cost of this award has only a £7.00 entry fee. You may wish to book an additional online tutorial to support your child with some aspects of the syllabus. Play this game to help practice your chord changing skills. If you have already started learning this piece, you may be able to play some of this already. The music is found by clicking the link below. ![]()
